Both stories are inspired by Silesian legends. One about the history of the marbles used to decorate the Palace of Culture of Zagłębie, and the other about the Utopek, a mischievous Slavic water spirit lurking in rivers and ponds.
Written by Adam Kowalski and published by GZM – the Upper Silesian–Zagłębie Metropolis, the project combines local mythology, architecture, and storytelling into a contemporary visual form.
