Tychy Small Theatre (TMT – Teatr Mały Tychy) is an independent theatre presenting a diverse programme of guest performances. Together with the Obok Municipal Art Gallery and the Andromeda Culture Passage, it creates a multifaceted cultural space for a wide range of artistic activities. The new visual identity brings the communication of all three units together into a coherent and recognisable system.
The TMT logo is geometric and synthetically constructed, referencing the layered, backstage structure of a theatre stage. Through its weight, composition and rhythm, it also reinterprets the architecture of the building housing the Small Theatre. The MGO and PKA logos are graphic extensions of the theatre’s logo, consistently based on the same construction principles. Their symbols form a series of initials in which individual morphological elements — stylised letters — interlock into a mosaic-like composition, referencing the distinctive decorative pattern on the façade of the theatre building.
The system was applied across the institution’s communications, from posters and outdoor campaigns to leaflets, programme guides, brand materials, the website and digital communications.
